A POWER cut affecting a Wrexham village has caused another school to close as weather warnings continue.
Ysgol Maes Y Mynydd in Rhos has closed and is asking parents to collect their students at the earliest convenience.

Due to an ongoing power cut in the area, the school cannot guarantee a safe and productive learning environment.
A statement from headteacher David Lloyd said: "The power is coming on and off intermittently so they cannot guarantee how long it stay on for so children still need collecting asap.

"The local area is currently experiencing a power cut and we don’t envisage it to be on anytime soon. As a result we have no heating and are unable to cook food for the children. Therefore could you collect your children as possible.
"As we are unable to access the internet and have no phone lines, please can you share this message."
