Flintshire County Council is seeking feedback on Connects Centres to understand how they can better serve community needs.

Connects Centres, located in town centres, provide face-to-face support on a range of council services, and digital support is also provided to those who need it.

Some Connects Centres share space with public services like North Wales Police and JobCentrePlus.

Councillor Linda Thomas, cabinet member for corporate services, said: "We know Connects Centres are highly valued by the people they serve, particularly those who have difficulty getting online or accessing council services by telephone.

"However, since the COVID-19 pandemic not as many people are accessing the centres and we would like to hear from as many people as possible to find out why.

"It doesn’t matter whether you already use a Connects Centre or have never set foot through the door - your views and opinions are important to us and will help inform our review."

A survey link will be made available through Facebook for users of that platform.

The survey can also be accessed directly at https://www.flintshire.gov.uk/en/Resident/Consultation-and-Engagement/Open/Flintshire-Connects.aspx

People who are unable to complete the survey online can visit any Connects Centre for support.

Connects Centres are open 9am to 4.30pm on various days as follows: the Buckley centre is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; the Connah's Quay, Flint, and Holywell centres are open Monday to Friday; and the Mold centre is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

When all responses have been considered and decisions have been made the outcomes will be published on the council’s website.

The survey is open between Monday, November 18 and Sunday, December 15.
