Carers of patients at Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham are invited to an awareness event.
The event, happening on Thursday, November 21, coincides with Carers’ Rights Day.
The 2024 theme is ‘recognising your rights’.
The Family Support Team at the hospice provides assistance to unpaid and informal carers of patients using hospice services.
Jackie Rowley, the Family Support Team lead, said: "Our aim is to help carers of patients who are accessing our services to recognise and understand their rights, and to access appropriate services that may help to meet their needs."

Ms Rowley added: "If you would like to know more about the services available at Nightingale House Hospice, or those offered by other organisations and you are supporting a patient connected with our services, we would like to invite you to an information event on Thursday between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
"A member of the Family Support Team will be available to you to discuss your rights as a carer and share the support available to you within Nightingale House Hospice and via other organisations."
