FLINTSHIRE Council has issued an update on its bin collections amid today's snowy conditions.
Heavy snowfall late last evening and overnight left roads across the county in treacherous states. The council has said 13 gritters, two tractor gritters and five ploughs worked throughout the night and this morning to clear the roads.
Flintshire Council has provided an update on bin collections - with collections in more rural areas suspended.

Black Bins – All collections taking place, with the exception of round 16 – Treuddyn/Leeswood/ Bwlchgwyn/Ffrith area.

Brown Bins – All collections suspended. Collections may recommence this afternoon if conditions improve.
Recycling – Rounds 4, 5, 6, 15 and 16 serving Pontblyddyn, Hope, Cefn-Y-Bedd, Hope, Abermorddu, Cymau, Caergwrle, Leeswood, Coed Talon, Treuddyn, Pontybodkin, Pontblyddyn, Llanfynydd plus any rural areas surrounding these areas have been suspended.
Residents will be advised to retain their recycling in a safe place and to represent next week.
Medical, Allied Health Professionals and Trade rounds – collections taking place as usual.
