A FALLEN tree on a main road linking Flintshire and Wrexham is causing "significant" traffic disruption, police have warned.
North Wales Police (NWP) has said there is a fallen tree blocking the A541 at Cefn-Y-Bedd, near the Hollybush pub.
Police said the Highways department at the council will be attending to remove the tree, but urged people to avoid the area in the mean time.

A NWP spokesperson said: "Due to a fallen tree on the A541 Cefn-Y-Bedd near the Hollybush pub, it is causing significant issues for traffic.
"Please avoid the area if you can. Highways are aware and will be attending as soon as possible to remove the fallen tree."
A night of heavy snowfall has caused considerable disruption to the road network across Flintshire and Wrexham.
A Yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place until 11am - with schools across the area forced to close today.
