A FLOOD ALERT is in place for Flintshire overnight tonight (November 18) with the weather expected to worsen.
A yellow weather warning is in place for north Wales as the Met Office anticipates 'frequent and heavy snowfall' this week.
However, Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is also telling residents in Flintshire and further along the coast to expect potential flooding.
A flood alert has been issued which covers the likes of Sealand, Connah's Quay and Flint.

"Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. Be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, roads, low lying land, close to the estuary. We will continue to monitor the situation."
