NORTH Wales Police have confirmed a crash involving four-vehicles took place this morning on the A55 (November 18).
The incident, which took place shortly after Junction 32A (eastbound) near Holywell sparked lengthy delays on the busy road during the morning commute at approximately 9am.
Traffic Wales confirmed Lane 2 was blocked shortly after the collision, and police closed J32A while emergency services dealt with the incident. The road has since fully reopened to motorists.
A spokesperson said: "At 9.06am this morning we received a report of a four-vehicle RTC on the A55 eastbound at J32A.
"Police attended along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service and the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
"The road was closed whilst the area was cleared, but has since reopened.
"No serious injuries were reported."
