Wrexham officers disguised in plain clothes arrested a suspected shoplifter as part of a city-wide crackdown.
North Wales Police have confirmed they arrested a male earlier this week (November 12) as part of Operation Blizzard which aims to tackle shoplifting in businesses in Wrexham.
According to the force, the individual is suspected of having committed two thefts in 24 hours at the same location.

The Wrexham City Neighbourhood Policing Team have been leading the operation which has seen officers carrying out proactive patrols around the city and at hotspot areas, both on foot and on bike in a bid to tackle and reduce business-related crime.
In a post online, a spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “Operation Blizzard continues to be in operation in and around the City Centre continuing to tackle retail crime.
“On Tuesday officers were deployed in plain clothes and were successful in arresting a male who had committed two thefts within 24 hours at the same location.
“This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
“We will continue our efforts, and you will see several pop-up shops across the City on the run up to Christmas.”
