A NEW family-run cafe has opened in Wrexham following a change of ownership and refurbishment.

Caffi Pawb, situated at Nant Y Gaer Road in Llay, said it was finally ready to open its doors to customers today .

The cafe has been a passion of first-time business owner Jessica Pritchard's for a long time, and she can't wait to begin serving the community for hopefully many years to come.

"I want it to be a local meeting place", she said, "to catch up with family and friends.

"Or perhaps it will become the place to just grab a quick bite to eat. Either way, Caffi Pawb is here to provide good food that makes people happy."

The former sandwich shop has been transformed ahead of today's launch. A menu for the cafe has been finalised, offering delicious breakfast and lunch options to all customers.

Jessica is promising customers a warm welcome, delicious home-cooked food, and a friendly space to relax and socialise.

She adds: "When I first thought of opening a cafe, my first thoughts were that it needs to be in a community setting because community is important to me.

"I wanted to avoid having a cafe in the town centre. Growing up in a community you quickly learn that if you look after the people around you then they will look after you in return. When the opportunity came up in Llay, I jumped at the chance."

"I'm most looking forward to bringing something to the community that people can enjoy, where they can meet people and provide them with a good experience."

We wish Jessica and the team the best of luck for the opening of Caffi Pawb.
