THE installation of average speed cameras on the A548 between Llanerch-y-Mor and Mostyn will start this week.
The measure is part of a collaborative effort to improve road safety between Flintshire County Council and North Wales Police.
Funded by Welsh Government, the project aims to tackle speeding and enhance safety along this vital route.

The A548 has been identified as a priority location because of a significant number of collisions in recent years, including several incidents resulting in fatality or serious injury.
The new average speed camera system will encourage safer driving behaviour and improve overall traffic conditions.
The installation work is anticipated to take four weeks and will include the warning signs to inform drivers of the new enforcement measures.
