A FLINTSHIRE baker is celebrating a double slice of success.
Jody Owens is the creative talent behind Tada Cakes by Jody, based in Leisure Centre, and has scored a regional win at Welsh National Wedding Awards.
The 38-year-old, from Mancot, was named Best Wedding Cakes in North Wales at this year's event in Swansea.
Now in its 13th year, the award recognise the best wedding businesses in Wales, with thousands of votes cast every year by the happy couples.
Tada Cakes has also secured a place on the website Three Best Rated, as one of the top ranked businesses for cakes in Flintshire.
Three Best Rated aims to give users a shortlist of the very best options, focusing on 'the best, not the most'.

Jody, who moved the business from its original Hawarden location a year ago, was ultimately too busy with orders to attend the Welsh National Wedding Awards in person.
She said: "I saw the email and thought 'Oh my god!'. I just do what I do, it's all I've known since 2012. It's nice to be recognised.
"I'm totally laid back with it all now, and it's a real honour to be part of someone's special day.
"It's a big thing to do but I get to know the couples, and love delivering wedding cakes.
"I'd like to thank everyone who took time to vote and everyone who continues to support my dream."
Jody, who can work on between four to 10 wedding or occasion cakes a week, also sells sweet treats over the counter from the Deeside Leisure Centre every Saturday.
