A SECTION of the A55 in Flintshire has been closed following a crash.
Traffic Wales confirmed that the eastbound carriageway has been closed near J31 Caerwys - J32 Holywell following a road traffic collision.
There is reportedly heavy fog on the main road this morning, which has created difficult driving conditions.
The crash has sparked heavy traffic in the area, with traffic officers en route to the scene.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and find alternative means of travel.
An eye witness has reported that several emergency service vehicles are at the scene, including three ambulances and two police cars.
Traffic Wales issued an update just after 9.30 stating that Lane two has reopened, while Lane one remains closed.
As of 11am, lane one remains closed, with delays now down to around 25 minutes.
Traffic Wales confirmed at 11.20am that the road has fully reopened.
