THREE missing teenage girls from Wrexham have been "safely located", police have confirmed.
North Wales Police launched an appeal earlier this week in relation to the three missing girls from Minera.
The force issued a subsequent update on Tuesday to state that it was believed that the girls, one aged 15 and two 14, had left the area.
A statement from North Wales Police said: "Thank you to all those that have assisted in providing information of sightings regarding the three females that were reported missing from Minera earlier on today (November 11).
"Enquiries that have been conducted throughout the day suggest that they are no longer in the North Wales area, and further enquiries are being currently being conducted, with the assistance of other Forces, to ensure that they are located both safe and well."
On Wednesday morning (November 13), a North Wales Police spokesperson confirmed that, thankfully, the three girls have been "safely located".
They said: "Thank you to those who provided information in relation to the three teenage girls that were reported missing from Minera, Wrexham.
"All three have been safely located."
