A 20-year-old woman has been sentenced for shoplifting in Wrexham.
Oliwia Pieczkowska, of Pont Wen, Caia Park, stole a number of items worth more than £60 from Farmfoods on two separate occasions, North Wales Police said.
On October 29, she went into the store on Kingsmills Road and took over £40 worth of washing pods without paying.
The following week, on Saturday, November 9, she went back to the same shop and stole a number of bags of chocolate, worth £20.
Appearing before Wrexham Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday, November 11), she admitted the offences and was sentenced to 20 weeks at a young offender institution.

Sergeant Tom Dewberry said: “As part of the recently launched Operation Blizzard, we will be working with local businesses and partner organisations across the city every day to crack down on retail crime in the run up to Christmas.
“It aims to tackle habitual and repeat perpetrators, ensuring we protect staff, customers and businesses from this type of criminality, so Wrexham city is a safer place to live work and visit.
“We will continue to support retailers and robustly deal with offenders by bringing them before the courts.”
Operation Blizzard sees dedicated officers will increase their visibility through carrying out proactive patrols around the city and at hotspot areas, both on foot and on electric bikes in a bid to tackle and reduce business-related crime.
The operation also sees officers engaging with the community and talking to shop owners to better understand concerns around local retail crime, identify offenders and to offer crime prevention advice.
