POLICE are investigating a 'dangerous' incident involving an off-road bike in Flintshire.
North Wales Police say the incident took place in Flint between 4.30pm and 5pm last night (Monday, November 11).
Officers say that the bike in question was being 'driven dangerously', in particular around the Castle Park Industrial estate area and the coastal footpath.
They had spotted the red Surron bike while out on Operation Restore duty (tackling anti-social behaviour).
A spokesperson said: "When he saw us, he rode directly into oncoming traffic before heading back towards the woods between Castle Park where he nearly collided with a dog walker In the dark as we were in there on foot."

They added: "We've seen this red Surron a number of times in the Flint area with the rider wearing a camouflage coat. We need your help to tell us where he's coming from.
"You can provide intelligence anonymously through crime stoppers or call 999 if seen on the road.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing to identify the driver/owner. Once identified, appropriate action will be taken."
North Wales Police have added that their patrols will increase in the area in order to try and catch the bike rider.
