WREXHAM AFC returned to winning ways, seeing off Mansfield Town in a tight game with a single, early goal enough to claim victory.
The Red Dragons flew out of the blocks for the early kick-off, and Ryan Barnett thumped a low shot into the bottom corner after just six minutes.

A closely-matched fight then ensued, with both sides enjoying opportunities – the second-half following the same pattern as Mansfield sought a leveller and Wrexham looked to wrap up victory.
After a blow at the very end of their last league match, at Charlton, however, Wrexham stood firm to claim a valuable three points.
