RESIDENTS gathered in Mold Town Centre this morning to remember the men and women who lost their lives while proudly serving their country (November 10).
Every November, villages, towns and cities come together to remember the British men and women who lost their lives while serving their country.
The parade commenced at 9.30am with representatives of uniformed organisations and members of Mold Town Council marching from Daniel Owen Square up the Mold High Street to St Mary's Church.
A church service was held at St Mary's at 10am followed by the war memorial at Bailey Hill. Afterwards, the parade marched back to the Square where the Mayor thanked those who had taken part.
Flintshire residents gathered together alongside Mold Town Council on Daniel Owen Square for the two minute silence at 11am to show their respect.
Mayor of Mold Cllr Brian Lloyd attended, as well as Chair of Flintshire County Council Dennis Hutcherson, MS Hannah Blythyn, MP Becky Gittins and Mark Isherwood. Today's Parade Marshall was Sgt Dave Hewitt.
There was a fantastic turn out in the glorious sunshine despite the brisk cold weather.
