A Wrexham vets has slashed prices on essential services to help families save on pet care costs.
As the festive season approaches, Rhyd Broughton is reducing costs on consultations, vaccinations, and neutering, making pet care more affordable for owners.
Rory Brotheridge, clinical director at Rhyd Broughton, said: "At Rhyd Broughton we know this time of year can be financially demanding, so we’re reducing our prices on essential services."
The practice is encouraging regular care and check-ups as a means of spotting potential health issues before they escalate.
They cited studies indicating that two in three dogs and cats have undetected health concerns.
Mr Brotheridge added: "Routine check-ups and vaccinations are critical to spotting hidden health issues before they escalate.
"Studies show that two in three dogs and cats have undetected health concerns, which is why we’re encouraging owners to take proactive steps with regular care."
The practice, which has been providing veterinary care in Wrexham since 1960, hopes the price reduction will make high-quality care accessible to more families.
Callie Thornton, another clinical director at the practice, said: "Vaccinations and regular health checks lay the foundation for long-term wellness.
"By catching health issues early, we can help pets live healthier lives and potentially resolve or support owners and their pets with these issues."
Rhyd Broughton is planning an open day in the new year, with details to be announced on their Facebook page.
