A number of areas around Wrexham are set to welcome Santa over the festive period.

Friends of Ruabon have announced plans to bring Santa to town in an effort to spread festive cheer to families and children throughout December.

The celebrations will begin with a Static Christmas Letter Writing event at the CRNCA on December 5 from 3pm to 6pm.

This event will provide children and families with the opportunity to write their Christmas letters in a magical setting.

The festive fun will continue with several other events, each with its own start time, in various locations.

In Rhosymedre, the festivities will start at 6pm on December 9.

Plas Madoc will have its event on December 12 starting at 5.30pm.
