A WREXHAM man who was jailed as part of drug supply conspiracy has been ordered to pay back over £200,000 of his ill-gotten gains.
Marcus Finchett, of Fairview in Rhostyllen, appeared before Mold Crown Court via video link from HMP Kirkham in Lancashire on Friday (November 8) for a proceeds of crime hearing.
Finchett, aged 30, was jailed in December of last year for eight years for his role in a drugs conspiracy spanning multiple counties in England and Wales.
The bulk of the case involved a conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs into North Wales in 2022 and 2023 - including cannabis into HMP Berwyn - and the Oswestry area.

The group's offences displayed "some hallmarks of a county lines operation", with the drugs being supplied by way of a graft phone (the 'AJ line'). Several kilos of drugs were flooded into the areas.
Finchett assisted in arranging transport of cocaine from Merseyside to other conspirators in order to supply the 'AJ line.'
The court heard on Friday that the overall financial benefit from the conspiracy to Finchett was £416,000. Of this, Finchett was in a position to pay back £234,016.65
Judge Rhys Rowlands ordered Finchett to pay back the £234,016.65.
