A NUMBER of criminals from Wrexham were locked up this week.
From domestic abusers to child sex offenders, here are the criminals that were jailed at crown court this week.
Wrexham man who made indecent images of children jailed
Steve Taylor, Heol Bathafarn in Coedpoeth, made 42 indecent images of children as young as 10 and breached a sexual harm prevention order.
He was jailed for 10 months.
Wrexham man jailed for harassing ex and breaching suspended sentence
William Williams, of Crescent Road, repeatedly breached a restraining order against his ex-partner which left her feeling "trapped and manipulated".
He was handed a six-month prison term.
'Jealous and controlling' Wrexham man jailed for strangling and assaulting ex-partner
Trystan Gameson of Spring Lodge in Wrexham, was sentenced for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault by beating and intentional strangulation on his ex-partner.
The 29-year-old was jailed for 27 months.
'Calculated' man who controlled ex-partner and 'took away her happiness' is jailed
Fletcher Wright, of Benjamin Road in Wrexham, was sentenced for engaging in controlling behaviour, intentional strangulation and intimidating a witness.
He was said to be "complicated, calculated and cunning" in his abuse of his ex-partner and 'destroyed' her life and her dignity.
Wright, aged 22, was jailed for three years.
