WREXHAM'S Head Office Creative Hair Studios has taken centre-stage at the 2024 Salon Awards.
Competing against top salons from across Wales, the Wrexham-based team took home three significant awards: Best Salon in Wales, Best Salon for Hair Extensions in Wales, and Apprentice of the Year in Wales.
The event, held on Sunday, (November 3) at the Leonardo Hotel in London, was hosted by celebrity hairdresser and podcaster Dom Lehane, spotlighting the finest talent in the UK hair industry.
Head Office Creative Hair Studios won Best Salon in Wales for the second time and Best Salon for Hair Extensions for the third time—a remarkable testament to their dedication to excellence.
However, the highlight of the evening for the Head Office team was the win for their apprentice, Liberty Spender, who was named Apprentice of the Year.
Vicky Williams, owner of Head Office Creative Hair Studios, said: "Liberty has been an incredible addition to our team. Our clients adore her warm personality and positivity—she is a ray of sunshine.
“Seeing her dedication rewarded at a national level is a huge moment for all of us. As someone who started as an apprentice myself, I’m passionate about nurturing our industry’s next generation.
"Developing talent in-house and guiding them to embody the high standards we’re known for at Head Office is something I’m deeply committed to."

Apprenticeship opportunities in hairdressing are on the decline in the UK for many reasons including financial pressures on salons, and government funding cuts but Head Office Creative Hair Studios remains steadfast in its commitment to training the next generation of stylists.
The salon's success story is fuelled by Vicky's dedication to fostering a supportive and inspiring environment for young hairdressers.
“Growing our own talent is essential to the quality and creativity that define Head Office,” Vicky added. “I look forward to supporting Liberty and many more apprentices in the future, helping them flourish in a hands-on, dynamic environment.
"There’s no better foundation for a stylist than learning on the job and growing through real experience, shadowing our expert stylists which I believe it’s the best foundation for a strong, creative career in hairdressing.”
