WREXHAM Foodbank has confirmed drop-off points will be in place for the Mansfield fixture to encourage donations.
Ahead of the upcoming fixture against Mansfield Town, Wrexham AFC is hosting a food drive to support Wrexham Foodbank, a local charity providing emergency food and assistance to members of our local community in need.
This local charity provides essential food and resources to families and individuals facing food insecurity.
While all food donations are welcome, supporters attending the game are encouraged to bring any of the following non-perishable items:
-
Long-life milk
-
Canned goods, including rice pudding, tomatoes, beans, soup, fish, corned beef, potatoes, fruit, and vegetables
-
Staples such as pasta, rice, and cereals
-
Biscuits
-
Toiletries
Donation stations will be open on Saturday from 11am until kick off, located conveniently near Dragon Square and by the Club Shop.
With around one in five people in Wales experiencing food insecurity, Wrexham Foodbank has become an essential community resource and lifeline.

Over the past year, it has provided more than 10,000 emergency food parcels to those in crisis.
Since 2012, the foodbank has relied on public donations to keep its eight distribution centres stocked, working alongside over 100 local agencies to provide a three-day supply of food to individuals and families in need.
This appeal is part of a larger season-long effort, providing supporters regular matchday opportunities to make a real impact on the lives of local families facing hardship.
