CEFN Community Council is proud to invite the community to this year’s Remembrance Service, a solemn occasion to honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
The service will commence on Sunday, November 10 at 10.35am at the Cenotaph on Plas Kynaston Lane, Cefn Mawr.
The service will include recitations from the children from the four local primary schools: Ysgol Cefn Mawr, Ysgol Acrefair, Ysgol Min y Ddol, and Ysgol Rhosymedre, who will honour the fallen by reciting their names who are listed on the Cenotaph.
Following the service, attendees are warmly invited to gather at George Edwards Hall where refreshments will be available and stirring performances by Raise the Roof Choir and the talented children from Ysgol Min y Ddol.
Chairman Mr Phil Vaughan expressed the significance of this event: "Remembrance Day holds a special place in our hearts.
