NORTH Wales Police have issued an appeal to the public following the theft of a bike in Flintshire.
Police have received a report of a bike theft in Shotton, which is described as an orange Carrera with a ripped seat.
A police spokesperson said: "We have already stopped a number of persons in Shotton with similar bikes however please report any sightings to us. Its possible the bike may have been dumped due to the large police presence. A photo will be added as soon as we have one.
"Suspect is a male youth possibly still wearing a balaclava and blue jeans with a grey jacket."
Anyone with information that might help is encouraged to contact North Wales Police.
