The council is considering an application to build nine new homes in Chirk.
Plans submitted to Wrexham County Borough Council, would see a mixture of houses being built to the rear of the leisure centre in the town.
The plans have been submitted by developer Elate Construction who have built houses all across North Wales as well as in the Wirral and Cheshire.
If the development was to go ahead it would see a mix of detached and semi-detached two-bedroom dwellings being built in Ingleby at the rear of the lane From mountain view to Lloyds lane.

The plans show that there would be four semi-detached homes with double driveways all with their own personal rear gardens with a singular detached property at the end of the road which would have its own garage.
Planning permission was previously granted for the site in 2017 however that was only for five dwellings not the now proposed nine homes.
So far consultations with Natural Resources Wales has raised no concerns over the effect on the local drainage system despite it being within the catchment of the River Dee and Bala Lake Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
The council's highways team has requested information from the developer but has recommended that as the new houses would be near the school that the "Traffic Section have recommended that the applicant funds a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to install double yellow lines at the main access, along the northern side of the estate road and within the proposed turning head to deter parents from parking along the internal estate road.”
They added that “if the application is supported, the LHA recommend that no part of the development shall commence until a Construction Traffic Management Plan including provisions for contractor parking has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.”
