WREXHAM Lager say they want to build a new brewery in the city following the news Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have come on board.
It was announced yesterday (October 30) that the Wrexham AFC co-owners have now become involved in the ownership at Wrexham Lager.
The Hollywood pair will partner up with the Roberts family, who have owned and ran the business since 2011, and will continue to play an active role in the running of the company.
Brewed in Wales since 1882, the Wrexham Lager Beer Co is the oldest lager brewery in Great Britain.
The Roberts family stepped in to bring Wrexham Lager back to life in 2011, after brewing stopped in 2002.
Since its revival, Wrexham Lager is now being sold in pubs across the area, UK supermarkets and even overseas in the wake of Ryan and Rob's takeover of Wrexham AFC.
Ryan and Rob's ownership represents a landmark moment for the brewery - which looked to have been lost forever before the Roberts family stepped in.
Sharon Roberts, Community Project Manager at Wrexham Lager, and wife of Director Jon Roberts, spoke exclusively to the Leader about what Rob and Ryan's investment will do for the company.

Sharon said: "We literally couldn't be happier, it's a momentous day for us.
Wrexham Lager is the UK's oldest operating brewery and the football club is the third oldest club in the world so when Rob and Ryan bought the football club, they've been looking at ways of investing in the local community so this really felt like a great fit to us.
"Over the last year we've been expanding into overseas markets, so Wrexham Lager is now in Scandinavia and Australia, with plans in the coming weeks for America and Canada.
"This investment will literally supercharge these plans and we feel supercharge all our community projects."
Sharon said Wrexham Lager also have big plans closer to home too, with a possible new brewery on the horizon.

She added: "It's a gamechanger for us we feel, we're born and bred in Wrexham, we're a local family, still heavily involved in the business, still overseeing things here and we just couldn't be prouder of what's been achieved to get this across the line.
"What they bring to the table will supercharge all our plans and enable us to follow through on new plans as well.
"One of them is looking at a new brewery site as the one we're on now is quite small, so we want to build a new brewery here in Wrexham, invest in the community, more jobs, support the economy, so that will be the main thing it (the partnership) will enable us to do, which we're really excited about."
Sharon also revealed that the Roberts family and Wrexham Lager team were "blown away" by the positive reaction to the news, which she described as "the worst kept secret".
She added: "It's fantastic for us and we couldn't be happier.
"We're still overseeing the management of the brewery here, quality control overseas and community projects which is at the heart of what we do, but very much involved.
"You probably saw the socials yesterday, we've had tremendous support with such positive comments, we were literally blown away by it all.
"Some of the staff have been in the loop, it's probably been the worst kept secret here if I'm honest, but they're thrilled. "
