A film celebrating Wales’s historic Euro 2016 run is coming to Wrexham.
The oral history film Remembering France will be shown at Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham, on Friday, November 8, at 7pm.
The film, by Dr Penny Miles, highlights tales of motherhood, female protagonism, and footballing expertise, along with fan experiences of tournament firsts and Welsh nationhood.
As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, the film will be shown at various cultural venues across Wales.
The events are supported by the ESRC Festival of Social Science, the University of Bath, Sporting Heritage, Elysium Gallery, Grange Pavilion Youth Forum, and the Football Museum for Wales.
After the Wrexham screening, guests from Her Game Too Cymru/Wrexham and film participants will discuss Welsh fandom.
