THE EYE-CATCHING inaugural mural of the new Wrexham public art trail has now been completed in the city centre.
Popular local artist Liam Stokes-Massey has been tasked with heading the project which looks to celebrate the city's culture and heritage.
New murals will be painted across the city, to add to the ones currently in place at the Turf, Fat Boar and on Crispin Lane.
The first of the bunch is this stunning mural of a miner located on Egerton Street.
Created by MurWalls, the detailed mural depicts a miner and a caged dove as both a fitting tribute to Wrexham's rich mining history and a nod to the Gresford Mining Disaster.
September marked the 90th anniversary of the disaster which saw 266 men lose their lives in one of Wrexham’s worst tragedies.
Managed to get on the scissorlift for a photo.
