A VEHICLE led armed police officers on a chase from Flintshire to Merseyside.
North Wales Police's North Flintshire team said the pursuit took place on Monday.
Armed response and roads crime unit officers chased the vehicle to Merseyside after it "decided to do a runner" from neighbourhood policing team (NPT) officers in Flintshire.
A North Flintshire policing team spokesperson said: "It was a bad day for those using the roads for crime, our ARV (Armed Response Vehicle) and RCU (Roads Crime Unut) colleagues were on hand when a vehicle decided to do a runner from NPT into Merseyside.
"They were stopped there and found in possession of an offensive weapon and they were drug driving the vehicle was suspected to be in a dangerous condition and has been seized.
"Another vehicle decided to run from response colleagues, it was located a short time later and seized. It doesn't end there, we'll develop intelligence around these persons and inevitably when they buy another car - we'll take that one too. "
