A SINGER from Wrexham has shared his excitement ahead of a performance with piano sensation Lucy Illingworth.
Samuel Snowden will be sharing the stage with the 13-year-old BAFTA-nominated pianist, who wowed audiences on Channel 4's The Piano, at Nightingale House Hospice's Christmas Celebration Concert next month.
Samuel is looking forward to not only performing, but also the opportunity to speak on the night about the care his family has received from the team at Nightingale House.

Nightingale House Hospice's highly-anticipated Christmas Celebration Concert will be held at William Aston Hall, Wrexham, on Sunday, November 24.
The event will feature incredible performances from NEW Sinfonia, Rhos Male Voice Choir, and, for the first time, Dee Sign Choir.
Samuel will be performing in tribute to his lost loved ones and in honour of the care his family received at Nightingale House.

He has a rich background in music and has performed at prestigious venues, and shares a deep personal connection with the hospice.
Samuel said: "Nightingale House has always been a very important charity to me.
"This year, specifically, the hospice has played a massive part in my life, with both my granddad and my mum spending considerable time there. It feels a lot more real now."

Samuel's mother Janet Snowden and grandfather Fred Snowden both received care at the hospice, and he speaks with heartfelt gratitude about the support his family received. "There was so much support for me, my sisters, my dad, and my gran as well. People often don't realise how much support the family receives, especially in those last moments."

Samuel is particularly excited to share the stage with rising star Lucy, noting that her talent is a rare gift. He added: "Lucy has one of the most incredible talents in this country, and to have her perform is amazing. To share a bill with her is one of the most exciting moments of my career."
