A WREXHAM fitness firm is hosting a birthday bash to celebrate 20 years in business, and to show off its new purpose-designed gym.
RPM Fitness started out in a tiny therapy room at NEWI (now Wrexham University) back in 2004.
The business went from strength to strength, later moving to Wrexham Tennis Centre, and is now based at a new site on Pandy Business Park, just off the Gresford roundabout.

RPM owner Gavin Rogers started the business after graduating from NEWI in 2003, where he studied sports science.
The impressive site now boasts a gym kitted out with state-of-the-art fitness studio, a variety of small group training classes, personal training services and a recovery room, featuring infra red sauna and plunge pool.
The anniversary open day will be held on Saturday, November 16, from 8am-2pm, with existing members and those interested in signing up welcome to attend.

Gavin, from Minera, said: "We want to host this event to thank our members who have supported RPM through an amazing 20-year journey, and also welcome anyone interested in finding out more to have a look around our gym to see what we offer, to try out equipment and classes.
"People can come along and chat to our friendly coaches and find out more about training, classes, nutrition plans and anything else they would like to know.
"We have spent the past few months creating an amazing new gym and we are ready to show off the facility to the community. We have invested in new equipment and created a new area for group training.

"Our open day is an opportunity to celebrate 20 years in business, thank our loyal members and welcome the community in so they can see what we have got to offer.
"There will also be series of fitness challenges that everyone can sign up to to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice."
Members and those interested in signing up can join in with classes - including strength, build, circuit training, stretch, box fitness and ladies only classes throughout the day starting from 8am.
There will be a special offer for the first 20 members to sign up on the day.
