A POLICE vehicle was involved in a crash over the weekend, the force has confirmed.
Yesterday, (Sunday October 28), the Leader reported that a collision had taken place on the A5026 slip road at Halkyn.
North Wales Police confirmed that the road was closed near the on-slip by Billy Jeans Cafe.
Since then, the force has confirmed that one of its own vehicles was involved in the crash, alongside another vehicle.

NWP say that a police vehicle, which was responding to an incident, had crashed at the scene at just after 5pm.
They added that no one was injured during the crash.
A spokesperson said: "A North Wales Police vehicle that was responding to an incident has been involved in a road traffic collision with another vehicle on the A5026 on the slip road to Halkyn, Eastbound on the A55 this evening. The incident occurred around 5.05pm on Sunday 27th October.
"No one was injured during the collision and other police offers responded to the incident that the vehicle was attending."
