NORTH East Wales Search and Rescue assisted police in rescuing a man from the summit of Moel Famau on Monday evening.
He had sustained a lower leg injury, and was easily located via the Sarloc phone find before a team was deployed.
The casualty was fully assessed and driven down from the summit in one of the team vehicles to await a family member in the lower carpark to aid onward travel.
A NEWSAR spokesperson said: "We wish the casualty a speedy recovery and would also like to thank the Clwydian and Dee Valley Rangers who transported the gentleman's two dogs from the summit to the carpark.
