THE LINE up for this year's Christmas lights switch-on event at Eagles Meadow has been revealed.

The event takes place at the Wrexham shopping centre on Saturday, November 16 - between 4pm and 7pm.

There will be live music once again - with Ben Ofoedu (Phats & Small) who will be headlining the show, with other performers on the night including Dene Michael of Black Lace and Kevin Davy White, plus more.

As part of the event this year, Nightingale House Hospice is hosting its 'Lantern Parade: A Night of Light and Hope' fundraiser.

The event starts on Queens Square and finishes at the Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre. Families taking part will carry brightly-lit and decorated lanterns through the city centre’s streets and raise sponsorship to support Nightingale House Hospice.

Cllr Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Business, Economy and Tourism, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with Nightingale House Hospice again for this year’s Christmas Light Switch-on and Lantern Parade.
