A community litter pick in Wrexham was hailed a success after 27 bags of rubbish were collected.
People came together in Plas Madoc for the event, which was described as a testament to community spirit.
Among those involved were councillors, volunteers, and local schools Ysgol Rhosymedre and Ysgol Min-Y-Ddol.
Tesco's David Roden, the Plas Madoc housing officer, Wrexham Council Plas Madoc caretakers, and volunteer Barbara Lloyd also took part.
The initiative not only improved the local environment but also helped build a sense of unity and pride among residents.
Clerk of Cefn Community Council, Trina Nicholls-Smith, applauded the successful event.
She said: "This is what community is all about – people coming together to make a real difference.
"From our local schools to volunteers, Tesco, and Wrexham Council, this effort shows that when we join forces, we can make our environment cleaner, safer, and better for everyone.
"I am immensely proud of everyone who took part today and am grateful for their hard work.
"We are stronger together, and today proved that."
Phil Vaughan, chairman of Cefn Community Council, also expressed his enthusiasm about the day's success.
