A MUCH-loved Wrexham pub has temporarily closed to the public to allow a search for a new licensee.
Admiral Taverns, managing company of The Griffin Inn, Rossett, has confirmed the pub closed to the public last week until someone new can take over.
The cosy and welcoming family-friendly pub is a detached building situated in the picturesque village of Trevalyn.
Well-supported by locals, the venue has been a great stop gap for people enjoying the walks and countryside for many years.
Following the closure, a spokesperson at Admiral Taverns said: "We are strong believers in the importance of community pubs and our focus is always on helping our licensees run sustainable pub businesses, however, there are inevitably instances where we have to part ways with our licensees.
