WREXHAM's Ijazz Indian Cuisine has been awarded North Wales Restaurant of the Year at the National Curry Awards 2024.

Presented by Wrexham MP Andrew Ranger in Parliament, London, the team is thrilled with their big win, and even prouder to represent their home city.

Ijazz, situated at Egerton Street, opened in September 2016 and has continued to impress customers with their flavoursome and authentic dishes.

Manager Emran Hussain said: "We are incredibly proud to receive the Best Restaurant award!

"This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my incredible team. Their hard work and dedication are the backbone of our success.

"The team at Ijazz would like to extend our deepest thanks to every single one of our customers. You’ve been with us through every dish, every celebration, and every challenge. Without your love and support none of this would be possible.

“Together we can uplift one another and create something truly special. I encourage everyone to continue supporting local businesses and each other.

"This award belongs to all of us, our Ijazz family and the Wrexham community."

MP Andrew Ranger said: "It's always great to see Wrexham represented in Westminster."
