A MAN was arrested on suspicion of assaulting multiple emergency workers during an incident in a Flintshire town centre.
North Wales Police said that the incident occurred on Sunday morning in the Church Street area of Flint.
Police said at 8.26am, officers were called to reports of a man with facial injuries who appeared "aggressive and intoxicated".

Upon attendance, officers engaged with the man, and he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of an offence under Section 5 of the Public Order Act, resisting arrest and Assaulting four Emergency Workers, police said.
A NWP spokesperson said: "The man was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, following which he was returned to custody and later released on police bail until October 28. Our investigation remains ongoing."
Witnesses reported seeing a police cordon on the Flintshire Retail Park, close to the B&M store following the incident - which police confirmed was linked to the cordon.
