A new restaurant is to take the spot of what was Boheme in Chester city centre.
Salt House Tapas, which has enjoyed a successful time in Liverpool since it opened in 2010, has announced the opening of its second restaurant, due to open on Bridge Street next month.
The new Chester restaurant will offer seating for 90 guests inside, with an additional 40 seats outside for al fresco dining as well as a spacious bar area for those enjoying a coffee or cocktail.
Salt House Tapas will serve seasonal, contemporary tapas dishes, with the menu created by head chef Laszlo Nagy. With over 13 years of experience, Laszlo’s impressive accolades include a Green Michelin Star, two AA rosettes and a semi-finalist position in the North West heats of the BBC's Great British Menu.
The Chester location will be the first outside of Liverpool for co-owners Matt Robinson and Luke Creedon. Luke held the position of executive chef of the Liverpool Salt House Tapas for eight years before taking ownership alongside Matt earlier this year.
Luke said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing the Salt House Tapas experience to Chester. The city’s food scene is thriving and we can’t wait to share our passion for tapas with the local community.
"Our focus will be on maintaining the same high standards of food, drink and service that we’ve become known for in Liverpool, whilst embedding ourselves in the city’s vibrant hospitality scene".
Salt House Tapas will be open seven days a week from noon. To keep up to date, follow Salt House Tapas Chester on social media.
