AN inquest has opened into the death of woman whose body was discovered at Erddig. 

Vanessa Loose, of Glan Gors, Wrexham, was found dead in an area of the National Trust estate near Felin Puleston on the morning of October 14. 

At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (October 20), an inquest was opened into the 56-year-old's death. 

It heard that a dog walker discovered Miss Loose's body at around 6.15am on October 14. Police officers attended, and the death was sadly confirmed at 6.48am.

A patholigist's provisional cause of death following a post-mortem examination is hanging. 

A full inquest has been adjourned until a later date.
