A SECTION of main road in Flintshire is to undergo urgent repairs after being damaged during last week's flooding.
A part of Mold Road in Connah's Quay was left damaged during flooding that occurred amid heavy rainfall last Wednesday.
Flintshire Council said Streetscene has been out inspecting the road network following the flooding, and that the damaged section of Mold Road has been identified for repairs.
A Flintshire County Council spokesperson said: "Streetscene have coordinators out inspecting currently along with internal resources and external contractors assisting within making the network safe and passable.
"Following this and concurrently we are carrying out urgent repairs and make safes.
"The location in question is noted on our list to repair and will be actioned shortly. The location has been coned and made safe to highlight the defect to the public and road users alike."
