SUNNY spells and isolated showers have been forecast for the upcoming week, the Met Office confirms.
Following a wet and windy weekend thanks to Storm Ashley, Wrexham and Flintshire can expect a more settled week of weather.

Monday will see sunny spells and a sprinkling of showers, these being heaviest across the high ground in the south.
Generally, there will be light winds, however breezy at times along coasts and hills. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
It will be dry this evening, but cloud will increase from the north and west before midnight, with an increasing risk of outbreaks of rain later in the night.
Throughout the night there will be mostly light winds and mild temperatures of 5C.
Tomorrow (October 22) will start cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain slowly sinking south across Wales, turning drier and brighter into the afternoon.

There will be near normal temperatures, with a maximum temperature of 16C.
A spokesperson confirmed the outlook for Wednesday to Friday and said: "Rather cloudy on Wednesday with patchy drizzle, but with some brighter spells in the mix too.
"Increasingly cloudy from Thursday with wind and rain arriving overnight into Friday."
