WREXHAM AFC'S Ryan Reynolds will be turning 48 years old this week - and we're almost certain Rob McElhenney will have another surprise in store for him to mark the occasion.
The actors have become inseparable since taking over as co-chairman of the north Wales football club back in 2021.
And, with that, has come a tradition of bantering each other whenever their birthdays come around.
It all started back when Ryan unveiled a 'commemorative urinal' at the STok Cae Ras for Rob's 45th birthday three years ago.
That came complete with a plaque and a picture of Rob's face, as Ryan recorded a video of the unveiling ceremony.
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob responded to that by one-upping Ryan with a blimp unveiling at Wrexham's home ground.
The 'Ryan Reynolds Memorial Blimp' - which featured in season two of Welcome to Wrexham recently - featured Ryan's 'Deadpool' face on it.
The sequence of winding each other up continued once more when Ryan composed a song for Rob's 46th birthday back in April of last year.
The catchy tune makes light-hearted fun of the way people have attempted to say “McElhenney”.
It's a name that Ryan says, "while ways to massacre and mispronounce it there are many".

Rob responded by, rather generously, buying a Wrexham park which will soon be named after Ryan for the Deadpool star's birthday this time last year.
Once complete, the park, based at the former Hippodrome site in the city centre, will offer 'a flexible space that can be used by the Wrexham community'.
Earlier this year, Ryan returned the favour by unveiling a picture of a bare-chested Rob.
That mimicked the nude painting of Rose, played by Kate Winslet, from the epic 90s film Titanic.
Ryan will be turning 48 on Wednesday (October 23), so keep your eyes peeled for Rob's latest bit of mischief!
