STAFF at an Indian restaurant in Wrexham say they are "incredibly proud" after picking up a national award.
Ijazz, situated in Wrexham city centre have won North Wales Restaurant of the year at the National Curry Awards 2024.
The popular curry house on Regent Street will pick up their prize at the awards ceremony in the House of Lords on October 21.
Staff from the restaurant will head to London with Wrexham's MP Andrew Ranger to collect their award.
Emran Hussain, manager of Ijazz, said: "Being recognized at the National Curry Awards 2024 at the House of Lords is a deeply emotional moment.
"This award means everything to us. It’s not just about the food we’ve put our hearts into this restaurant, and to represent Wrexham on such a prestigious platform makes us incredibly proud.
"We are grateful to our customers and the community who have supported us from day one we started our journey.
