THE TURF is set to close its doors later this month to allow for a "makeover".

A new floor is set to be installed, and the closure is only expected to last a day and a half.
The pub has become famous with Wrexham due to featuring on hit docu-series Welcome to Wrexham.

However they won't be able to do so on October 28, Wayne said on social media: "Well, it's time for The Turf to get a bit of a makeover.
"Starting Monday, 28th October, we'll be closing our doors to install a shiny new floor (because, let's face it, the old one has seen better days).
"Don't worry, we'll be back up and running on Tuesday, 29th October, from 3pm - just in time for you to come and admire our new floorboards.
"We promise not to make you take your shoes off (yet)."
