A WREXHAM-based commercial cleaning contractor has achieved membership to the only organisation singularly representing the UK contract cleaning industry.
Maidscando Ltd, working across North East Wales and West Cheshire’s cleaning services market, wanted to become a Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) member to further develop its service offerings, upskill its cleaning technicians and enhance its sector knowledge and networking.
The company became eligible for membership after passing the rigorous CSSA audit of its operations based on the association’s code of practice.

Founded by managing director Carlton Relf to emulate domestic gas services’ excellence in commercial cleaning industry settings, Maidscando provides customised cleaning services, proactive job service reporting, and comprehensive auditing. The company also provides public sector and healthcare facility cleaning and specialist incident management and preventative decontamination. It serves customers in both the private and public sectors.

With 50 years’ expertise, the CSSA helps UK cleaning businesses to grow and innovate through its accreditation programme, annual awards and innovation showcase and key industry events. The association keeps members networked through its community groups and business advice services and also advises the Government on industry policy, sitting on boards dealing with health and safety, immigration, and business practices.
