POLICE are urging motorists to avoid a number of roads in Wrexham and Flintshire due to flooding.
Heavy rain across north Wales today (October 16) has led to the flooding and disruption of roads across the area.
A yellow weather warning from the Met Office is in place until 9pm, with heavy rain continuing throughout the day.
North Wales Police have issued a list of affected roads in Wrexham and Flintshire, urging motorists to avoid the areas.

The affected roads and areas are:
- A541 from Caergwrle towards Mold
- A541 Wylfa roundabout towards Wrexham
- A5118 from Pontblyddyn to Padeswood by the Cement Factory
- A525 south of Cross Lanes at the bottom of the hill
- Main Road, Broughton
- Brook Street, Rhosllanerchrugog
- A539 Wynnstay Estate
- Llangollen Road, Plas Madoc
- A525 Coedpoeth to Wrexham
- Cloy Lane, Overton
- Bronwylfa Road, Legacy, Rhostyllen
- Hanmer
- A534 Holt
