A community council has celebrated a resident's 90th birthday with a bouquet of flowers.
Mrs Betty Cox, who lives in Llys-Y-Greig, was celebrated by Cefn Community Council as part of its initiative to honour significant milestones.
The flowers were presented to her by the council's voluntary chairman, Mr Phil Vaughan.
Mr Vaughan said: "It’s a true privilege to honour our community members like Mrs Betty Cox.
"These are the moments that bring us together, celebrating lives filled with love, strength, and so many cherished memories.
"We believe it’s important to recognise these milestones, not just as birthdays or anniversaries, but as celebrations of lives well lived and the contributions people like Betty have made to Cefn over the years.
"It’s a humbling reminder of the importance of community and how we can come together to celebrate these incredible journeys."
The council encourages residents or families with loved ones approaching similar milestones to reach out.
Mr Vaughan said it is a joy to celebrate the rich lives and enduring legacies of community members.
The council encourages any residents or families who have loved ones approaching these remarkable milestones to reach out.
