THE ANNUAL Llangollen Food Festival was a huge success over the weekend, taking place in various locations across the town.

On October 12 and 13, thousands of people attended this year's food festival, offering over 80 stalls presenting a delicious array of artisan food and drink such as breads, cheeses and pies to sweet offerings such as crepes, cheesecake and pastries.

There were also a host of demonstrations and plenty of live entertainment for all ages.

Chair for the Festival, Pip Gale is delighted to say: "As chairman of the Llangollen Food Festival, I couldn't be more proud of what we’ve achieved this year.

"With over 80 fantastic stalls, seven vibrant venues, 20 incredible bands, and a host of engaging demonstrations over two packed days, it’s been a resounding success.

"What makes this event truly special is that it’s entirely community-run, powered by a team of brilliant volunteers who dedicate their time and passion all year round.
